Growing up right next to motocross tracks in the middle of Brandenburg forests, Liz hasn’t lost her passion for speed and engine sounds until today. Every day she hurtles into the office with her red scooter. On her way she’s looking forward to having her hands race over the keyboard. In addition to motor sports, she’s fascinated by good stories and the people who tell them.
The sun shines on my balcony, Jazz Radio carries me through the morning and for breakfast I have good coffee and toast with egg.
If you could record dreams, Lili would be the Steven Spielberg of the dream content industry. She travelled all places, met every important person and has successfully completed every crisis scenario several times. When Lili is awake, she channels her creative energy into texts, images and event concepts.
The best way to start my day?
My perfect day starts with sunshine, strong coffee, wool socks on parquet and “Inner Smile” from Texas.
Franzi likes things organized, which you can see from her desk. That doesn’t stop her from surrounding herself with little things that always seem to turn up at her workplace. This is because she sees her desk not just as a collection of pens and notebooks, but rather as a little piece of home.
The best way to start my day?
The best way to start my day is with a big cup of black tea with lots of milk. At the weekend this is accompanied by a big breakfast and a book, and during the week a quick look at the latest news.
Tim loves technical innovations. Thus, he is looking for great new apps every day. Currently there are 241 of them installed on his phone, tendency rising. He claims to use each one of them or to use them eventually at some point. Maybe you buy yourself a new apartment and how cool would it be, when you are able to measure the floor plan with your smartphone??! Tim is happy to be prepared and he likes it tidy. How else would you be able to keep track of all the programs?! His elaborate folder structure on his phone, he proudly declares, has already impressed many – and he is convinced to possess the best-organized iPhone in the world! Who can say that about himself?
The best way to start my day?
With a cold shower in the early summer sun, followed by breakfast on the terrace. Or in the winter with an episode of the current favorite series – in the unlikely event that little Niki sleeps longer than daddy 😮
Ina’s life fills a playlist. How many songs it has, she can´t say because every day she finds a new one that she thinks was written for her. Melody, arrangement, and a play on words that elicits pure joy. A song as a concept: When the bass hits that bass drum and the guitar carries that bass … and then someone sings out and sums up life in just a 100 words! A principle, simple as effective: Somebody sings, Ina receives. Music is communication par excellence! And there goes your circle. Private meets professional.
The best way to start my day?
Ideally: I wake up before the alarm goes off, bounce out of bed, smell the coffee, hear the music – I am dancing into the day!
Really: The alarm snoozes the battery to death, I stumble into the cold bathroom, make the train way too late with a paper cup coffee in my hand, thinking: Life, right? Gotta love it.
Jenny has been a team member since the early days, so she has seen and shaped the history of schoesslers all the way so far. With her experience, creativity and sense of humor, she keeps a cool head even in stormy times and ensures that her clients arrive to any port safely. In her free time she rather steers the sewing machine for her small handmade label, loves the contemporary literature of TC Boyle, and is a passionate carnival “jeck”. KÖLLE ALAAF!
The best way to start my day?
My perfect day starts with a strong coffee, a big breakfast with friends, and “I Sat By the Ocean” by Queens of the Stone Age.
While a few years ago she was a regular guest on the film industry’s red carpets, these days Johanna is passionate about innovative B2C ideas. In her free time you’ll find her in the museum, at the movies, or on the couch reading a good book.
The best way to start my day?
The perfect start to my day is breakfast on the balcony, fresh rolls, good music, and sunshine on my face!
Together with Buffy, she is the longest serving team member at schoesslers. She actually has no idea what she’d rather be doing and happily enjoys the incredible luxury of being surrounded by so many fantastic people day to day. And sure thing, by Buffy, too.
The best way to start my day?
I’m an early bird! However short the night was. I am always cheerful and difficult to bear for people who don’t do mornings. Have to go out with Buffy anyways.
As a native of Berlin, Maria takes things easy. She likes big ideas and small hyphens and has implemented interconnected campaigns for several years. She loves to exercise, preferably in good weather on her bike.
The best way to start my day?
A long walk followed by a long breakfast. Most definitely with a boiled egg.
Juliane communicates an average of 21,548 words a day, ranging from baby talk to big data, from business calls to after-work drinks. She is a true Taurus – hardly ever flustered, always structured and prepared to give advice.
The best way to start my day?
Child sleeps until 7, I have coffee before kindergarten and client coverage in the inbox.
As a Hanoverian, Federico is characterized above all by composure. With the necessary calm he tries not to let himself be infected by the hustle and bustle of the capital – which he usually succeeds in doing. As a rule, there is no day on which he doesn’t show up with a broad grin in the office. In the past, Fedi, as he is affectionately called, was mainly involved in PR campaigns, where he was usually allowed to take on the creative and digital part. For him, being creative is one of the most important things in life, which manifests itself not only in his job but also in his music. On weekends you can meet him at art exhibitions, concerts, open mic’s or also in a club – depending on how the week went.
The best way to start my day?
Getting up early, but still well rested. Putting on sports shoes and walking the dog for half an hour. On the way back, some healthy shopping and having an abundant breakfast. But let’s face it: I neither get up early nor do I do sports or have a dog. But I am perfect at having an abundant breakfast while browsing the Netflix originals. That guarantees a comfortable start into the day.
Without music life would be only half as beautiful! As a passionate saxophonist, Corinna loves music of all types and enjoys playing jazz and film soundtracks. She loves traveling the world, is always interested in getting to know new cultures, and has a passion for baking.
The best way to start my day?
A perfect day for me begins with a clear blue sky, sunshine, birdsong and a big breakfast—preferably in the fresh air!
As an Elvis fan since her early childhood, Stephie is self-confessed old-school when it comes to music, but professionally she is always curious about what’s new – whether it is interesting clients or relevant trends that will shape society and our future. As a sociologist, she likes to think laterally – unconditionally and always to what´s ahead.
The best way to start my day?
The best way to start my day? My daughter’s little hands on my cheeks, still warm from sleep, and her mouth close to my ear. Then, before the alarm goes off, and as loud as a bear: TIME TO GET UP, MAMAAAAAA! That’s a real waker-upper and it puts a spring in my step too.
Mathias likes good design in all its facets, from coffee-table books to glasses and thought-out exhibitions. Originally from Saxony, now living in Berlin since several years, he loves to get inspired by everything that´s new.
The best way to start my day?
Sleeping in with coffee, cereals and omelette, digital morning newspaper, sun and plans for the day
Darja has always been crazy about books and magazines. Her enthusiasm for reading goes hand-in-hand with a love of writing, which is why she enjoys working on good texts on a wide range of subjects. In her free time she loves riding her bike in Berlin (even though she considers it nothing short of dangerous) and she loves yoga (because – not so dangerous).
The best way to start my day?
Get up early (which I do like, really), make coffee, and then go back to bed with that coffee and read Der Spiegel (print edition!) for an hour or so in peace.
You are what you eat … or something like that. Nora not only likes eating cakes, she loves baking them too. And a great cake starts with the planning. Another of her passions. A pinch of pragmatism, a few grams of empathy, a handful of wit, creativity and diligence. By the way, her secret fetish: Spring cleaning!
The best way to start my day?
With Nutella!
“Let me google that.” When you need facts, that’s what you’ll hear from her first. She researches, writes, designs and organizes. All at the same time. As a freshly baked mother of twins—easy peasy! The most wonderful thing about all this: However much the heat is on, she’ll has a smile for you.
The best way to start my day?
After a hopefully uninterrupted night and at least 7 hours of sleep, the start into the day is a cappuccino— just to wake me up.
Although he regularly succumbs to the retrotopic charm of supposedly antiquated technology and prefers the warm, analogue acoustics of decades old polyvinyl chloride over digital perfection, he also has a soft spot for the postmodern world of zeros and ones. The native Berliner can be characterized by the ambivalence of digital nativity and analogue socialization. However, he sees no immanent conflict in that. He ostentatiously cultivates a lifestyle that combines the advantages of both worlds while maintaining a balance between screen and print. Just as he browses through small shops on the eternal search for new and old records for his collection, he combs through the digital jungle with great curiosity on the lookout for technical innovations of all kinds and complexions. If he is searching neither online nor offline, the longtime tennis aficionado collects occasional winners and torn strings on the dearly beloved claycourt.
The best way to start my day?
The perfect morning he knows only from hearsay. Isn’t that paradoxical in itself? Aren´t “perfect” and “tomorrow” negating each? Are subject and attribute not diametrically opposed on the downwardly open scale of human well-being? Favouring factors such as espresso, sun, sport and world peace can alleviate the morning ordeal of awakening, even if only moderately and without reliability.
Just follow the contagious, loud laughter, whenever you are looking for Laura. No matter how stressful the situation, Laura not only keeps a clear head but also manages to spread a good mood.
The best way to start my day?
The perfect morning includes an extensive breakfast during which I am completely at ease and able to watch one episode of my favourite TV series with disruption!
When Katrin isn’t jogging, reading or writing, you’ll find her chasing her children across the playgrounds in Friedrichshain. In the evenings, she enjoys listening to music, as well as the occasional karaoke session at Monster Ronson’s – where catchy songs will stuck in her head. Katrin is very happy to share the memorable songs by singing the melody all day long. When she needs to relax, she enjoys sitting in the Briefmarke wine bar on Karl-Marx-Allee, or on the sofa with a book.
The best way to start my day?
Her idea of a perfect morning is jumping straight out of bed into her running shoes and heading for the sunny Volkspark to wake up. If the weather’s bad (0 degrees or less), there’s a more comfortable option: espresso in bed.
The reputation of the digital communications industry lured Ari from the Sauerland region to the tech metropolis of Berlin. Now, she and her Sauerland charm are a true gem for the schoesslers team, unless she is showing off her squash skills after work.
The best way to start my day?
A perfect morning starts early for me (I do not know why, but sleeping is unfortunately not my thing – but I give it a try every weekend) with a sleepy look through the popular social media channels, a hearty breakfast and the MoMa !
As an only child with a sunny disposition, Natalya was always surrounded by lots of love and affection. She is classically interested in politics, literature and social developments, particularly in the area of equal opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people. She also likes dreaming of a better world – as what would life be like without big dreams?
The best way to start my day?
Rolling around in bed, enjoying the perfect hardness of the mattress, slowly standing up, making coffee, immersing yourself in the first news of the day
Just do it. Joe loves to tackle things pro-actively. He spontaneously decides to grab his keyboard and to give a concert as a singer-songwriter with his band in Berlin. Joe grew up in Austria and went to school on ski and hunted cattle as a young boy. This left its mark.
The best way to start my day?
Getting up at 6.00 a.m., taking a boiling hot shower until the bath is steaming, then enjoying a cup of coffee, checking my mails and heading to schoesslers while singing in the car. Then I am awake and full of energy.
Proudly presented by the Ruhr area, Beatrix has only been around on the streets of Berlin for a few weeks. But big cities are nothing new for her – after Hamburg, Munich and Cologne – her choice fell on the capital, preferbaly foerever. In addition to working in the office, she describes herself as a travel bug and prefers to explore foreign countries and cultures. In addition to German and English, she also speaks Dutch and some bits of Italian and Chinese.
The best way to start my day?
Turning on my favorite playlist on Spotify for half an hour in the morning, then having a coffee and I am ready to start into the day. I am not a morning grouch, but an early risers, which has infuriated so many family members.
Digital meets analogue: As much as Johanna likes to browse the Internet for the latest trends and innovations or share some snippets from her everyday life on Instagram – she prefers to relax in the so-called “real world”. The passionate tennis player belongs to the dying breed of people who still write their letters by hand. Therefore she hoards rough amounts of the most beautiful stationery and picks up even the most bizarre postcards. On the weekend you can find Johanna looking for cake in various cafés in Berlin, her perfect holiday would be a mobile phone free hiking trip through Canada. But until this becomes reality, Google, Pinterest & Co. have to help again to fuel the wanderlust…
The best way to start my day?
Sleep in, sip a perfectly tempered green tea and dance through the apartment listening to music.
Born in one of the most beautiful cities in Germany, Freiburg im Breisgau, and raised in the Lower Bavarian town of Plattling – which by the way had gained fame in the heroic epic “Nibelungenlied” – Philipp decided to leave rural life behind and move to Berlin. He has been living in the German capital since the 3rd of November 2013 and he never regretted moving to the Spree metropolis. Philipp remembers the date so accurately, because it was his birthday present to himself. However, Philipp doesn’t limit “choosing the opposite side” to his place of residence. He also switched sides professionally. After working as a journalist for newspapers and TV, the other side seduced him, and he finally ended up in PR. By the way: there is no need for him to miss Bavarian beer in Berlin, because the breweries from southern Germany seem to have “annexed” the local beer market with their products.
The best way to start my day?
Ideally, my morning starts with listening to the news from Deutschlandfunk and reaches its highlight by playing my songs on Spotify. Besides, taking a shower, having breakfast and sipping some green tea are part of my perfect morning.
The rolling “R” exposes her – Larissa comes from beautiful Bavaria. Born and raised in a little village, she moved to Berlin in 2016. Going to concerts is her passion – from small club concerts to large stadiums, whether Leon Bridges, the Stones or Andrea Bocelli – the range is wide. She loves cooking and baking and is very happy to delight friends and colleagues with the (hopefully!) tasty results. During the first one to two hours after getting up, you should keep distance because she doesn’t like getting up in the early morning at all. But the rest of the day, she’s in a good mood and always ready for some fun.
The best way to start my day?
During the week: Getting out of bed relatively quickly and starting the day without stress. At the weekend: Sleeping in (without any alarm), starting the day with a delicious breakfast and doing whatever you want afterwards.
Anna knows PR-agencies from scratch. Before she decided to live permanently in beautifully rough Berlin, she used to live in snobby Hamburg. Being a woman of many interests, she loves fashion, beauty and lifestyle equally as everything related to technics, nature and science. Being a strong advocate for sustainability, she is happy to teach you how to prepare a super easy selfmade ecological kitchen cleaner.
The best way to start my day?
Born in Castrop-Rauxel, Sebastian lost his heart to Italy early – the fascination for contrasts has always accompanied him. He feels just as at home on the south stand in Dortmund as he does in modern ballet, likes beer at the night shop as much as Negroni on the piazza. Consequently, he has now made Kreuzberg the centre of his life and, after five years of promotion, exchanged the Italian Baroque for the digital avant-garde.
The best way to start my day?
Back to bed with the first coffee, checking the world events on my mobile phone, then getting the second coffee and being spoken to as little as possible until then.
Moin! Born in Hannover, she´s not truly a child of the north, but she loves fish buns and the rough coastal wind. And it didn’t stop her from travelling the world either. It is one of her great passions. Most of all, she likes countries where she doesn’t understand a single word, but where the food tastes great and where people are happily trying to communicate with her with their hands and feet. In the meantime, Berlin has become her home base. The hustle and bustle of the city keeps her wanderlust alive. And work helps as well. After all, is there a better way to satisfy your own curiosity than to immerse regularly into exciting new topics?
The best way to start my day?
As a real late riser, I prefer to start my day without an alarm clock and with plenty of time to wake up slowly. From recognizing the first sounds to slowly opening my eyes up to the last stretch – it can take a while. But then I´m keen to move, preferably doing some yoga. Afterwards I treat myself with a small cup of coffee and I am happy.
Books are not only Jasmin´s source of inspiration, but her way to travel to other worlds. She has moved several times, but Berlin became her home a while ago. No matter where she lives, she has been always fascinated by the effect and the creative use of words. Whether she will stay in Berlin remains uncertain, but until then our team can count on her support.
The best way to start my day?
My day always starts with a cup of coffee and a good book (even though there is sometimes only little time for that). Previously, I used the snooze button as long as possible.
Born in Munich, but a true Berlin girl with great passion for this city. Just like Berlin she is hardly disturbed by anything, always on the run and fights for what she sets her mind to. During the week she is mainly at work, therfore you rarely meet her alone on the weekends but almost always with friends – cruising on a scooter, sitting at the Spree enjoying the sun or dancing to Techno. She has just returned from her four-month long trip to Asia and is currently, actively supporting schoesslers as an intern. What the future holds in store for her is still in the stars, however…
The best way to start my day?
My perfect morning starts by waking up without a alarm set – that’s essential! After waking up peacefully i have breakfast ( preferably avocado on bread with scrambled eggs) and a cup of coffee. If i manage to take my Dog for a long walk through Dahlem, my mood could only get better.
Nearly unimpressed by the general euphoria caused by her presence in the office, Buffy prefers to take a nap in her elegently designed residence consisting of a huge dog bed and cowhide. As agency dog, she is defintely far more creative than others of her kind and she is easily thrilled by everything which can be kicked through the office by the foot of her choice. She is a self-marketing genius and perfected her “Play with me! Pleasepleaseplease…!” – facial expression which she uses quite successfully.
The best way to start my day?
Kicking Julia out of bed at 5.30 a.m. and collecting sticks, bark mulch and blades of grass outside – I am quite spontaneous. Chasing my collection for a while, having a snack and heading back to bed.
