Growing up right next to motocross tracks in the middle of Brandenburg forests, Liz hasn't lost her passion for speed and engine sounds until today. Every day she hurtles into the office with her red scooter. On her way she’s looking forward to having her hands race over the keyboard. In addition to motor sports, she’s fascinated by good stories and the people who tell them.
The sun shines on my balcony, Jazz Radio carries me through the morning and for breakfast I have good coffee and toast with egg.
He grew up in beautiful Stuttgart which has the big advantage that he likes almost every place now. But he particularly likes Berlin and has always been drawn towards the buzzing capital privately. He enjoys the fact that he can now race to his appointments with his bike to the fullest. His passion are lyrics, so he likes to read books while listening to music when he's not mixing and matching sounds on the computer himself. Which in return nobody has to like.
The best way to start my day?
The memory before the first cup of coffee is extremely limited. The perfect complement is a pretzel, but the supply situation outside of Baden-Württemberg is extremely poor, which is why you have to resort to Schrippen or pancakes in Berlin. But I can live with that.
Tim loves technical innovations. Thus, he is looking for great new apps every day. Currently there are 241 of them installed on his phone, tendency rising. He claims to use each one of them or to use them eventually at some point. Maybe you buy yourself a new apartment and how cool would it be, when you are able to measure the floor plan with your smartphone??! Tim is happy to be prepared and he likes it tidy. How else would you be able to keep track of all the programs?! His elaborate folder structure on his phone, he proudly declares, has already impressed many - and he is convinced to possess the best-organized iPhone in the world! Who can say that about himself?
The best way to start my day?
With a cold shower in the early summer sun, followed by breakfast on the terrace. Or in the winter with an episode of the current favorite series – in the unlikely event that little Niki sleeps longer than daddy :o
Jenny has been a team member since the early days, so she has seen and shaped the history of schoesslers all the way so far. With her experience, creativity and sense of humor, she keeps a cool head even in stormy times and ensures that her clients arrive to any port safely. In her free time she rather steers the sewing machine for her small handmade label, loves the contemporary literature of TC Boyle, and is a passionate carnival “jeck”. KÖLLE ALAAF!
The best way to start my day?
My perfect day starts with a strong coffee, a big breakfast with friends, and "I Sat By the Ocean" by Queens of the Stone Age.
While a few years ago she was a regular guest on the film industry's red carpets, these days Johanna is passionate about innovative B2C ideas. In her free time you'll find her in the museum, at the movies, or on the couch reading a good book.
The best way to start my day?
The perfect start to my day is breakfast on the balcony, fresh rolls, good music, and sunshine on my face!
Together with Buffy, she is the longest serving team member at schoesslers. She actually has no idea what she'd rather be doing and happily enjoys the incredible luxury of being surrounded by so many fantastic people day to day. And sure thing, by Buffy, too.
The best way to start my day?
I'm an early bird! However short the night was. I am always cheerful and difficult to bear for people who don't do mornings. Have to go out with Buffy anyways.
Without music life would be only half as beautiful! As a passionate saxophonist, Corinna loves music of all types and enjoys playing jazz and film soundtracks. She loves traveling the world, is always interested in getting to know new cultures, and has a passion for baking.
The best way to start my day?
A perfect day for me begins with a clear blue sky, sunshine, birdsong and a big breakfast—preferably in the fresh air!
Although he regularly succumbs to the retrotopic charm of supposedly antiquated technology and prefers the warm, analogue acoustics of decades old polyvinyl chloride over digital perfection, he also has a soft spot for the postmodern world of zeros and ones. The native Berliner can be characterized by the ambivalence of digital nativity and analogue socialization. However, he sees no immanent conflict in that. He ostentatiously cultivates a lifestyle that combines the advantages of both worlds while maintaining a balance between screen and print. Just as he browses through small shops on the eternal search for new and old records for his collection, he combs through the digital jungle with great curiosity on the lookout for technical innovations of all kinds and complexions. If he is searching neither online nor offline, the longtime tennis aficionado collects occasional winners and torn strings on the dearly beloved claycourt.
The best way to start my day?
The perfect morning he knows only from hearsay. Isn't that paradoxical in itself? Aren´t "perfect" and "tomorrow" negating each? Are subject and attribute not diametrically opposed on the downwardly open scale of human well-being? Favouring factors such as espresso, sun, sport and world peace can alleviate the morning ordeal of awakening, even if only moderately and without reliability.
Born in one of the most beautiful cities in Germany, Freiburg im Breisgau, and raised in the Lower Bavarian town of Plattling – which by the way had gained fame in the heroic epic "Nibelungenlied" – Philipp decided to leave rural life behind and move to Berlin. He has been living in the German capital since the 3rd of November 2013 and he never regretted moving to the Spree metropolis. Philipp remembers the date so accurately, because it was his birthday present to himself. However, Philipp doesn’t limit “choosing the opposite side” to his place of residence. He also switched sides professionally. After working as a journalist for newspapers and TV, the other side seduced him, and he finally ended up in PR. By the way: there is no need for him to miss Bavarian beer in Berlin, because the breweries from southern Germany seem to have "annexed" the local beer market with their products.
The best way to start my day?
Ideally, my morning starts with listening to the news from Deutschlandfunk and reaches its highlight by playing my songs on Spotify. Besides, taking a shower, having breakfast and sipping some green tea are part of my perfect morning.
Moin! Born in Hannover, she´s not truly a child of the north, but she loves fish buns and the rough coastal wind. And it didn't stop her from travelling the world either. It is one of her great passions. Most of all, she likes countries where she doesn’t understand a single word, but where the food tastes great and where people are happily trying to communicate with her with their hands and feet. In the meantime, Berlin has become her home base. The hustle and bustle of the city keeps her wanderlust alive. And work helps as well. After all, is there a better way to satisfy your own curiosity than to immerse regularly into exciting new topics?
The best way to start my day?
As a real late riser, I prefer to start my day without an alarm clock and with plenty of time to wake up slowly. From recognizing the first sounds to slowly opening my eyes up to the last stretch - it can take a while. But then I´m keen to move, preferably doing some yoga. Afterwards I treat myself with a small cup of coffee and I am happy.
Elisa grew up in Karlsruhe, in beautiful Baden-Württemberg. During a visit in Berlin, she fell in love with the capital and simply stayed. As a multi-talent, she loves the challenges and opportunities in cross-channel communication and likes to take the two-pronged approach: digital and analog is not only her choice in public relations, but also in photography. In the evening or on weekends, she is always in for a cold beer, a lactose-free cappuccino or one / two / three (check if applicable) ice-cream scoops - preferably in her neighbourhood Moabit.
The best way to start my day?
As soon as the alarm rings, I get up. At least during the week. On weekends, it can also be a little later in the morning until you'll see me enjoying my breakfast. However, the relevance of breakfast is completely independent of the weekday and carries the prestigious title "most important meal of the day".
Luise is always accompanied by her big, beautiful German Shepherd Philo. The happy duo goes through thick and thin, even at work, in restaurants and the open-air cinema. The two are followed by comments like "Oh, a wolf" and the question "May I pet him?". Both are deep relaxed daydreamers who love long walks and would like to own a large farm with numerous animals one day. At home, they are under the strict rule of their Greek cat Jimmy Knopf, who has taken their hearts by storm and keeps them both busy. The leisure time is spent with many excursions across Germany, so that Mr. Philo can proudly claim to have traveled the majority of the country. The two enjoy to spend the day on the dog beach or walk through the lake district in their old home Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. After many trips and a few stays abroad, the two globetrotters have permanently pitched their tents in the beautiful village of Reinickendorf and are ready for all the beautiful adventures that life has to offer.
The best way to start my day?
Wake up in the beautiful sunshine, jog around the lake and then have a tasty breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, while the cat meows that he wants to participate and the dog with his big brown eyes is looking at the food greedily. Fantastic!
André is interested in people and good stories. He designs, writes and pitches. Even if a story heats up, he always knows where the fire extinguisher is. He would like to be able to play table soccer better and loves languages. Currently he is learning Turkish and Chinese. He likes exotic wines. Currently he is discovering Azerbaijani white wine.
The best way to start my day?
Getting up early, a coffee, and then reading a book offline. The cell phone is allowed to continue to sleep.
As a casual resident of Wedding, Rieke has acquired considerable knowledge of the grill plate over the last two years. She loves sparkling wine and champagne and standing receptions, goes to her workout sessions pedantically and cannot cook. She speaks a number of fun languages, loves to read twentieth century literature and daily newspapers. Who would she most like to have a coffee with? With Beyoncé and Angela Merkel - even in the sauna, if necessary.
The best way to start my day?
Without detours to a hearty breakfast in the Simit shop around the corner. Best in charming company.
If you want to transition smoothly from a political discussion of the Middle East conflict into a conversation about the boy groups of the 1990s, Nicole is the right address. She lives diversity and, thanks to her many years of PR experience, is very familiar with niche topics. Communication is and remains her passion, which she now pursues far away from the Berlin headquarters in Würzburg.
The best way to start my day?
On weekends please with sunshine, a big cup of coffee and no to-dos. During the working week actually the same, but with breakfast television.
Communication and relationships have always fascinated Franziska. That is exactly what she loves about PR work: it is a colorful bouquet of relationships with an equally colorful mix of people - customers, journalists, influencers, her team and other colleagues. In addition, doing communication work for digital companies can be very challenging. "When I write an article on a complex technical topic that I didn't understand myself until recently, it is a very satisfying feeling," she says.
Franziska started her PR path in the communications department of an international company. Then she switched to the consulting side in several agencies until she finally started her own successful blog project. She worked as an editor for the magazine Yoga Deutschland and wrote several magazines and companies as a freelance journalist and copywriter. She now looks back on more than 10 years of experience in various communicative roles in the digital world.
The best way to start my day?
Relaxed
Anna knows PR-agencies from scratch. Before she decided to live permanently in beautifully rough Berlin, she used to live in snobby Hamburg. Being a woman of many interests, she loves fashion, beauty and lifestyle equally as everything related to technics, nature and science. Being a strong advocate for sustainability, she is happy to teach you how to prepare a super easy selfmade ecological kitchen cleaner.
The best way to start my day?
Waking up well rested at least 1 hour before my child and husband get up, starting relaxed into the day on our couch with a cup of coffee and enjoying this special moment of peace. Watching some TV and playing Cookie Jam until a happy child greets me with a kiss. REAAALLY rare, but perfect!
The rolling R and her fondness for a good bottle of wine immediately reveal Eva's Franconian roots.
Long before she studied literature she was fascinated by the effect of words and that's why she's a fan of good film quotes, honest song lyrics, exciting books and funny podcasts. She is interested in a wide variety of topics and at work she enjoys diving into new topic areas.
The best way to start my day?
Without alarm clock, but with lots of sunshine and a cup of Darjeeling on the terrace. But most of the time I am satisfied with 10 minutes sitting cross-legged on my fluffy bathroom carpet to switch from zombie mode to "ok, let's do this".
Born and raised in Stuttgart, is she looking what exciting adventures the capital has to offer. Her passions are travelling, dancing and dining out. She has a sunny personality and faces every day with enthusiasm.
The best way to start my day?
When the sun shines! Then the morning is actually already perfect. The whole thing is crowned with a cup of fresh coffee and plenty of time in the morning. Then it is really the perfect start!
Always surrounded by a large family (five sisters), Henriette likes be surrounded by many of her loved ones and feels comfortable in the midst of all the hustle and bustle. She will always listen to your problems and share a beer. When things get quieter, Henriette devotes herself to the stories in her large bookshelf. Here you can find everything your heart desires. From exciting adventures, to funny experiences and up to philosophical thoughts. She can live out her love of communication both in her studies and here at schoesslers.
The best way to start my day?
During the week, the rule is: No shrill sounds!
Then follows half an hour of me-time to wake up and there always has to be time for an extensive breakfast.
Raised in pretty, but rather uneventful Brandenburg, Fabian now lives in the more exciting Spandau, right on the border between big city life and endless forest. He calls cinema his second home – here you can find him at least once a week. Half of his freetime he spents travelling, the other half on the sofa, preferably. All in all he is probably a bit quiet, but that's only because he is always highly concentrated.
The best way to start my day?
Not necessarily sleeping till noon, but before getting up i like to complete some videos from my watchlist which is way too long.
Always with a smile on her face, her everyday life is accompanied by music and podcasts. To change perspectives, she is always on the lookout for the best stories, anecdotes and reports on politics, society and current affairs. When she is not on the road, she makes herself comfortable at home with a pot of tea and devotes herself to her stack of books. Here, too, diversity is the order of the day: she has everything from classical literature, non-fiction and novels to poetry - and usually all kinds of newspapers and magazines get lost in them.
The best way to start my day?
For breakfast delicious Menemen with flat bread in the sun on the balcony. Afterwards out with friends or to the next bookstore to rummage for new treasures!
As the namesake of a princess known beyond solar systems, who stands for justice and freedom, there was only one true path for Leja: philosophy. Even though she was blessed with the good fortune to have grown up with three siblings in the idyllic Sauerland, her studies drew her to the most beautiful city on the Rhine. Exactly, to Düsseldorf. To the surprise of many, she actually studied philosophy in addition to media and communication studies, wrote a volume of poetry during this time, and finally climbed out of the ivory tower in 2018 to plant delicate plants of morality where they take root and bear fruit in the thicket of the wild communication jungle. What she likes to do most in her free time: think, talk, write. What she likes especially: birthdays, anticipation, Schopenhauer.
Without what she could not live: causal connections, humor, sleep.
The best way to start my day?
Rested and with good news.
You always meet him with a camera in his hand. Tomas loves visual communication, whether it is photography, video, animation, illustration or 3D modelling, he always finds a new way to express himself. He gets his energy and inspiration from being in the fresh air, hunting, reading or watching older films, which is also where his motto comes from: "Whatever you end up doing, love it" (Cinema Paradiso).
The best way to start my day?
Get up early, drink coffee, go out and do some sports.
Josefine is a true Berliner and loves to feel the life around her. She is definitely a city dweller - oh yes. But there was already a little detour, a jump into the deep end: living in a small town. For her master's degree in language and communication, she moved to Greifswald. Then life was more like this: Meck-Pom, sea breezes and fish rolls. A detour and many life experiences later, she was drawn back to her beloved Berlin. When she is not trying out a new exercise as a semi-professional yogi, she also likes to swing her paintbrush over the canvas or paper with passion in her free time. Even though she can't classify herself as a professional athlete, she is blossomingly interested in sports of all kinds.
The best way to start my day?
Best to sleep longer than usual to joyfully register and enjoy the feeling of sleeping in. Open the window to let the fresh air blow into your face and then back to bed with a strong coffee. After music plays on the side and at best the warm sun beams into the room, the day can start.
Born in Berlin and raised in a large family, Hannah knows how to deal with a lot of hustle and bustle and thinks it's strange when things unexpectedly get quiet around her. The big city has everything Hannah needs: great restaurants, quaint bars, small clubs and lots of parks and green spaces that she can explore alone or with her friends. At home, she likes to spend her time doing yoga, reading a good book or dancing around the flat to clear her head
The best way to start my day?
Wake up to the sun and start the day with some yoga, followed by a big cup of tea and a book to dive into another world in a cosy place. My perfect morning is rounded off by a hearty breakfast - pancakes are at the top of the list!
Originally from beautiful Franconia, Milena ended up in the urban jungle after her studies. Here she is now trying to blend into the big city lifestyle while figuring out an overload of new opportunities and apps, which she didn’t know from her small town life before. To fully live the Berlin-Vibes, she likes to explore vintage stores, tries to adapt to techno-music and is living out her creativity and passion for writing at schoesslers. Long walks through nature, cozy nights with a glass of wine and good friends on the balcony or a fascinating novel help her to rest her mind from everyday life.
The best way to start my day?
Going well rested for a run to enjoy the first rays of sunshine. Afterwards starting the weekend relaxed on the balcony with a big cup of coffee, delicious breakfast and 90s-music in the background.
After Elena left her hometown for five years to study and work in Cologne, she now returned to beautiful Frankonia. Her passions are music – be it played by herself or listened to – True Crime Podcasts and long walks in nature. Once a year she returns back to Germanys media capital: Visiting gamescom with friends is a must-do since teenage years.
The best way to start my day?
After waking up, she staggers half asleep to the fridge to get an energy-drink – because not one day can start without it. Afterwards the day can begin. On the weekend, she likes to relax on her rooftop terrace to read a good book or listen to a podcast.
Easily excitable and a hopeless optimist is how Nadja would describe herself. After having spent almost her entire life in Berlin, she moved her life from the river Spree to the ‘Mee,’ as locals call it. She made sure to take her openness and curiosity with her down to Lower Franconia, where she came upon an agency that represented the perfect symbiosis of her old and new home. Nadja prefers a good mix of action, relaxation, and contemplation. Her degree in American Studies and English Philology made her travel to the UK and USA. Early on, she found out she feels most at home wherever she encounters inspiring people and ideas.
The best way to start my day?
Green Tea, porridge, and a good book. With more time left, preferably doing some ironing, in combination with a podcast.
Born and raised in Volkach next to the meandering Main river, Kerstin was drawn to the Spessart region at the age of 21. As someone who prefers the country life and enjoys living in the middle of the green countryside, she currently owns a house surrounded by horses and sheep. Nevertheless, she loves big cities, which inspired her to pair her countryside life with a city-based job. Frankfurt am Main, Stuttgart, and Munich were important stations in her professional career. After some time, she decided to return to her original home area. By a lucky coincidence, schoesslers just then had established a new office in Würzburg. Franconian wine, music, concerts, books, K-dramas, and indoor rowing are her passions. Not to forget her favorite activity, which is using Google.
Even though her hometown of Trostberg is disparagingly and sarcastically called "Trostlos" (which means desolate) in the vernacular, she does not lack optimism. Equipped with a great deal of thirst for adventure, she was initially drawn to Munich for her initial journalistic ambitions, then to Passau for a bachelor's degree in the humanities and - a dream of her francophile passion came true - to Quebec City, only to end up back in the Bavarian capital for her master's degree in "European Ethnology". Meanwhile, thanks to a period of professional discovery, she got to know many different industries. Eventually, the hobby historian, self-proclaimed sustainability commissioner and design lover moved to Augsburg (still not quite sure if this is Swabia or Upper Bavaria or both - could possibly be due to a lack of sense of direction). Here she enjoys a dog-rich everyday life, in which the combination of street dog Charlie and Dalmatian Ella keeps her plenty on the go. So, fur is an obligatory must. And what else? A bit of France here and there, s'il vous plaît! And books, always many, many books with a wonderful paper scent.
The best way to start my day?
Best to get the first things done while still in my pajamas! Followed by a walk with the four-legged gang between morning dew and rising sun.
Maundering through the small streets and alleys of the city, always looking out - for the next story, for something unexpected, for something that would catch her attention. Nowadays she also enjoys finding treasures in the digital world. Be it art, science or artifical intelligence – her curiosity is endless. Espresso lover, dog owner and dreamer, most happy surrounded by people.
The best way to start my day?
Lying on the couch with the dog, enjoying a gentle start in the day with a lot of cuddles and fresh brewed coffee. Then out to the park and back home with warm croissants.
Born in Rhineland-Palatinate, she moved to beautiful Lower Franconia a few years ago to study American Studies. After stops in New York, Florida and Munich, she has remained loyal to Würzburg and, in addition to her unbeatably short commute to work, appreciates the idyllic vineyards, the historical sights and the ideal transport connections to the rest of Germany - ideal conditions for visiting friends and family on the weekend.
An absolut sun enthusiast, she can be found outdoors most of the time - preferably walking, hiking or cycling. If, on rare occasions, the planned activities fall through on rainy days, she likes to pass time with true-crime podcasts/series, Zumba, museum visits, photography tutorials and reading - the ever-growing pile of magazines and books in her apartment is getting higher and higher, because she is a collector and reluctant to part with her small archive. After all, you can read good stories more than once, right?!
The best way to start my day?
A sunny morning makes me look forward to the day! Getting outside before all the other early risers is perfect - preferably equipped with my camera and lots of coffee.
Nearly unimpressed by the general euphoria caused by her presence in the office, Buffy prefers to take a nap in her elegently designed residence consisting of a huge dog bed and cowhide. As agency dog, she is defintely far more creative than others of her kind and she is easily thrilled by everything which can be kicked through the office by the foot of her choice. She is a self-marketing genius and perfected her "Play with me! Pleasepleaseplease...!" - facial expression which she uses quite successfully.
The best way to start my day?
Kicking Julia out of bed at 5.30 a.m. and collecting sticks, bark mulch and blades of grass outside - I am quite spontaneous. Chasing my collection for a while, having a snack and heading back to bed.
