Following partnerships in the U.S. and India, schoesslers is expanding its international network to include Turkey, the UAE, and Azerbaijan through its partnership with the Walther Kranz agency
schoesslers – The Berlin-based communications agency schoesslers is entering into a strategic partnership with Walther Kranz, Istanbul. In addition to Turkey, the international PR and communications agency has offices in Dubai and Baku.
Following schoesslers’ collaborations in the U.S. (afacture) and India (Jaibo), the latest partnership with Walther Kranz strengthens access to the markets in Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Azerbaijan. Together, the agencies are creating a communications platform for companies looking to expand between Germany, Turkey, the Gulf States, and neighboring markets.
“International growth requires international communication,” says Jochen Kalka, managing director of schoesslers. “Our clients need partners who are firmly rooted locally while also coordinating their efforts across national borders. With Walther Kranz, we are expanding our network to include a region that is highly relevant for German and European companies.”
The partnership includes, among other things, public relations consulting, events, content development, and brand communication. For schoesslers’ clients, the partnership provides direct access to established local teams and networks in Turkey, the UAE, and Azerbaijan. At the same time, Walther Kranz’s clients benefit from schoesslers’ communications and media expertise in Germany and Europe. Both agencies focus on forward-looking tech topics.
“International expansion has undergone a fundamental shift. Our clients are no longer simply entering one market after another. Our partnership with schoesslers enables us to combine strong local expertise with an international communications infrastructure,” says Samet Özetci, CEO of Walther Kranz. “We are convinced that communications agencies must be able to operate just as seamlessly in these markets as their clients do.”
Communication for Highly Interconnected Markets
The partnership responds to a business environment in which markets are increasingly interconnected. Germany maintains close economic, social, and cultural ties with Turkey; at the same time, it is home to the largest Turkish diaspora in Europe. The connection between the two countries thus extends far beyond traditional bilateral trade. The UAE, particularly Dubai, has also developed into an important international business hub linking Europe with the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. German companies are increasingly exploring growth opportunities in the Gulf region. Conversely, companies from Turkey and the UAE are continuing to expand their presence in Germany and Europe.
The partnership is more than just a mutual referral program: Both agencies aim to work together on international accounts, respond to cross-market briefings, and pool their networks for cross-border campaigns. The collaboration will initially focus on Germany, Turkey, and the UAE. Additional markets may follow, depending on the needs of shared clients.
