Timo Maisel to Become the New CEO of the VOSS Group

VOSS, a systems partner for wiring and connection technology in the automotive and mechanical engineering industries, has announced a planned leadership transition. Dr. Thomas Röthig, the long-time CEO of the medium-sized corporate group, will retire effective January 1, 2027. After 13 years at the helm of the company, he will step down from operational responsibilities and will continue to support the company as a member of the VOSS Group’s advisory board starting in 2027.

Effective July 1, 2026, Timo Maisel will be appointed as an additional managing director of the VOSS Group. He will gradually assume the responsibilities of the outgoing CEO and, effective January 1, 2027, will take sole overall management of the company.

“After many years of a successful growth strategy and expansion of our product and customer base, now is the right time for a change in leadership. I am confident that Mr. Maisel, with his many years of leadership and industry experience, will continue to develop the group of companies with a clear strategic focus,” said Dr. Thomas Röthig, CEO of VOSS Holding, regarding the leadership change.

Dr. Regine Hagen-Eck, Chair of the VOSS Holding Advisory Board, states: “We warmly welcome Mr. Maisel and look forward to working with him and to the new impetus he will bring to our global growth strategy. At the same time, we thank Dr. Röthig for his outstanding leadership and his many years of influential work at the helm of our corporate group. We are therefore very pleased that he will remain connected to VOSS as a member of the Advisory Board and will continue to contribute his experience.”
